Q: How do you like dog walking?
A: I love it, I’ve worked other jobs but nothing has been as satisfying as dog walking.
Q: Do you just walk dogs or other animals too?
A: I specialize in dogs but I walk or sit any other animal that needs care.
Q: For the consultation, should we meet in a public area or at our house?
A: We always try to do what’s best for you and your dog. It is good to meet your fur baby in their own home so that they can meet us and you can walk us through their routines. With that being said, if you feel more comfortable meeting us in a public area at first we will do that too.
Q: Do I have to be busy or away from my home for you to walk the dogs?
A: No, I have pet parents that work from home and need us to take care of their dogs for them while they are there. We also walk dogs if you just need a relaxing day and break from your normal schedule.
Q: How many dogs do you have, are all of them yours?
A: I only have two! The rest are my clients’.

We won’t service a pet without going through the complimentary first meeting for their safety and ours.

For everyone’s safety, we won’t service aggressive dogs.

Dog parents will provide a proper leash for walking the dog. In case you don’t have one, we will use one of our own.

In some cases, we will require access to your home. You will provide two sets of keys if no one is there to provide access during the day or in the case of day pet sitting and overnights.

We can only work with 2 (two) dogs or pets at a time.

We will always walk dogs on a leash. This is not negotiable.

We’ll communicate with you by text message at the beginning and the end of the visit. In case of an emergency, we will call you directly.

Last-minute dog walks are only available to established clients, will incur a 25% surcharge, and require booking at least 4 hours in advance.

Our billing cycle runs every Friday. We accept different forms of payment (cash, Cash App, and credit card).

Any walks or sits that occur on a Saturday or Sunday after billing on Friday will be counted towards the following week’s payment.

SERVICE POLICY:
​At KOOLIN’ K9s, we value your trust and the opportunity to care for your pets. To ensure consistency, fairness, and the highest level of service for all of our clients, we kindly ask that you review the following policies.

Scheduling & Cancellations
We understand that life happens and plans can change. To respect scheduling and time reserved specifically for your pet, cancellations for walks, drop-ins, sitting, training sessions, or other scheduled services must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Services canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled time will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the total service booked. Same-day cancellations or no-shows may be charged the full service amount.

Recurring Services
For clients with recurring weekly services, we ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for any changes. Consistent last-minute cancellations may require adjustment of your reserved time slot.

Holiday & Peak Dates
Holiday periods are in high demand and require advanced planning. Cancellations for services booked during holidays must be made at least 72 hours in advance to avoid charges. Holiday services may be subject to adjusted rates.

Emergency Considerations
We understand that unexpected emergencies can arise. While policies are in place to protect scheduling, we will always review emergency situations with care and understanding.

Payment
Payment is due according to your service agreement. Any applicable cancellation fees will be processed using the payment method on file.
